Magazine I Miss: Evergreen Review
I Miss It Because: This was the voice of the new cultural, political, literary Left throughout the 1960s art directors included Roy Kuhlman, Dick Hess, Ken Deardorff, who hired me as its last (print) AD to design it as a paperback book when I was 19-20.
In the late sixties it was at its peak with illo content by Brad Holland, Ed Sorel, Robert Grossman, Milton Glaser, Rick Meyerowitz and many more from that Golden Age of illustration. It also was the home of the comic strip Barbarella (later a movie with Jane Fonda).
